How Can I Prepare for My Upcoming Stay?

Welcome to Cottage Country! We’re excited to host you and want to ensure you have the best experience possible. Here are a few important reminders to keep in mind during your stay:

Limited Resources:
Please remember that we are in a beautiful yet remote area where resources can be limited. When in doubt, it’s always a good idea to bring your own supplies, such as extra food, toiletries, and any special items you might need. While we provide the essentials, having a few extra things on hand can make your stay more comfortable.

Conserve Energy:
Power outages can occasionally happen in cottage country. To help us conserve energy and reduce the likelihood of outages, please turn off lights, appliances, and electronics when not in use. Your efforts make a big difference!

Be mindful of water consumption and to conserve water as we are on a shared well system.

Septic System Care:
Our cottage is on a septic system, which requires special care. Please be mindful of water usage and only flush toilet paper and natural waste. Avoid flushing any non-biodegradable items or using excessive amounts of water. This helps keep our septic system functioning properly and prevents any issues during your stay.

Eco-Friendly Practices:
We encourage all our guests to practice eco-friendly habits. This includes minimizing waste, recycling where possible, and respecting the natural environment around you. Together, we can preserve the beauty of cottage country for future guests to enjoy.
